Ashanti Region’s Benedicta Akua Sarfoa Asamoah, stage name Sarfoa was yesterday announced as the winner for the 2021 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant.

She beat competition from Volta Region’s Setor, Western Region’s Manu, Bono Region’s Mfodwo, Oti region’s Akosua, Upper East Region’s Wedaga.

Whiles many were overjoyed concerning her win, some netizens have said otherwise.

According to those who disagree with Sarfoa winning the most coveted crown and car, her votes in the final stages of the competition doesn’t match up to that of Volta Region’s Setor and Upper East Region’s Wedaga.

Whiles the public had 40% of the overall decision, the judges also had 60% which suggest that though her votes didn’t skyrocket as those of Setor and Wedaga, the judges scored her more points which in turn countered the massive votes of Setor and Wedaga.

The passion she exhibited was a delight to watch and it has come as no surprise for the emerging winner of the 2021 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant.

Below is a look at the final votes compiled on the GMB app at the time of the announcement of the winner.
