Farida Has A Boyfriend And Twitter Account – Wontumi Replies Mahama
he Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has asked former President John Mahama to stop lying to Twitter followers of Farida Mahama.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi claims John Mahama’s opulent and unbridled lifestyle has influenced his children to follow in his step and create social media accounts to showcase the wealth their father made through politics.
Chairman Wontumi’s statement follows Mr. Mahama plea to the public to disregard a Twitter handle purported to have been created by his daughter.
A statement from Mr. Mahama read: “My daughter, Farida Mahama, does not have a Twitter account. Kindly ignore and stop following the account in the attached screenshot, set up by some unscrupulous person and being used to send out tweets in her name.”
But Chairman Wontumi sharply quipped that such a lie must be ignored noting that for a little girl to have an instagram page where she can post her boyfriend, it was not strange for her to have a Twitter page.
In 2021, Farida Mahama, posted an image of a young guy who many alleged to be her boyfriend, celebrating him on his birthday. She captioned her post, “@rodney appiah, happy birthday babe” with love emojis.
