Even The Best Running Mate In The World Will Still Not Take Away Your Incompetence – Bawumia Jabs Mahama

The vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has taken a swipe at the former president and flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Dramani Mahama moments after he was overwhelmingly acclaimed as running mate to President Akuffo Addo for the 2020 general election.

President Akuffo Addo and Dr. Bawumia were massively endorsed by the National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) at an event held at the Alisa Hotel In Accra.

Speaking after his acclamation, Dr. Bawumia thanked the President for selecting him as his running mate for the fourth time and assured him of his total support and hard work throughout the period. He used the opportunity to assure the President of another four years to do more.

Ending his address, the Vice President used the opportunity to remind the former President of Ghana, John Mahama of his incompetence and the fact that wasting several years of indecision to settle on a supposed good candidate will not take the incompetence tag off him.

Dr. Bawumia, who has consistently jabbed the former president at any least opportunity, did so once again by saying “The best running mate in the world would not make a difference if the president is indecisive or incompetent”.
