#EndSARS: ECOWAS Finally Speaks After UN Condemned Violence In Nigeria

After mounting pressure especially from social media, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has reacted to the ongoing #EndSARS saga in Nigeria.

The body in a statement noted with concern the violence that has characterised what hitherto were peaceful protests from citizens.

ECOWAS also extended condolences to the families of lost souls while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

It also called for calm among the two parties and advised that the two pursue dialogue and find an amicable solution to the unrest.
