Former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has taken on former president John Dramani Mahama for his corruption allegations against the ruling New Patriotic Party.
His comment comes after Mr Mahama urged Ghanaians to kick the NPP out in 2024 so they don’t get away with their corrupt ways.
“The NPP has no intention of fighting corruption, and so the only way they can be made to account to the people of Ghana is for them to leave office so that the new government will come and audit them and show where they have gone wrong,” he said during his thank you tour in Wa.
Kwamena Duncan however wondered why the former president will have the guts to smear the name of the NPP with corruption when he superintended over a corrupt NDC regime.
According to him, Mr Mahama should have been in jail by now.
“President Mahama today has the gut to talk about corruption. If it was elsewhere, President Mahama indeed should be doing some time in the jail,” he fumed.
