General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, John Boadu has said that the Electoral commission must make readily make face mask available during the December polls.
Speaking on Accra Fm’s Ghana Yensom, Mr Boadu said the EC cannot rely on people wearing their own mask to vote, quizzing what happens to others who come without face mask.
John Boadu was speaking on his observations made from the EC’s pilot testing which they started yesterday.
“The Electoral Commission must make face masks available whether they like it or not. It’ll be unfair to deny someone the chance to vote because he didn’t wear face mask,” he said.
The Electoral Commission yesterday June 2, began pilot testing in preparation for the forthcoming 2020 election.
