A former acting general secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh has admonished government to reconsider its stance on the burning of galamsey concessions.
Speaking on Peace FM he bemoaned how the government has resorted to burning excavators to tackle galamsey; a decision which he believes will come back to haunt them.
According to him, it’s imperative that the military involved in clamping down on galamsey use the laws of the land in executing the President’s directive.
‘Mark my words; I’m going to be prophetic. Continue burning, it will come to haunt you,” he warned.
