Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, Bryan Acheampong has refuted allegations levelled against him that he’s snatched someone’s house under the guise of doing a project.

Host of the Citizen Show on Accra Fm, Kwabena Bobie Ansah on June 3, 2020 accused Bryan of taking over one woman’s house in the name of doing a project. He alleged that once Bryan takes over the land and you can’t have access to it, he asks you to sell it for him.

He goes on to say that Bryan is attempting to do that to another person. According to a video played on the show’s facebook live, an unnamed man was accusing Bryan of trying to take over houses they’ve built in the name of embarking on government project.

However, Mr Bryan Acheampong called into the show to defend and distanced himself from all the allegations levelled against him.

He stated emphatically that he knows none of the people accusing him and haven’t met them anywhere. He went on to challenge the host to put the accuser on the line saying, “I’m on the line if you like call the person and ask if we’ve ever met.”

“Why do you want to disgrace me because I am a politician. The building they’re claiming has been razed down is there, nobody has touched it. You can go and verify for yourself.”

“Verify before you crucify me Bobie. People are sitting down concocting stories and they have platforms that help them propagate their stories,” Bryan stressed.

The host, Bobie Ansah however, apologised and said he would follow up personally on the story to verify himself.
