The Parliament of Ghana has rejected the 2022 budget as presented by the Finance Minister.
This was after the majority caucus walked out on the process due to a disagreement with the speaker’s earlier directive to send out the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta before voting commenced.
The Majority caucus mobilized and walked out after the Speaker refused to grant a request to sack NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.
