Minister of Roads and Highways Kwasi Amoako Attah has said Ghanaians should be prepared to be more taxes in order to get the needed infrastructural development in the country.
He explained that more projects especially road constructions, would have been done if the e-levy had been supported by Ghanaians when it was introduced.
Speaking at the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) sitting, the Member of Parliament for Atiwa West said “We must be prepared as a country to pay taxes and contribute to infrastructural projects.”
“If we pay taxes like the e-levy which was introduced, one of the key areas for the e-levy was the road sector, so if it had been supported it could have helped,” he stressed.
