The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako has entreated the public and political actors to stay off passing judgments on the allegations leveled on Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, General Overseer of the Power Chapel Worldwide and a member of the Board of Trustees o f the National Cathedral Project.

Speaking to this reporter Tuesday afternoon, Mr Adomako said the allegations and claims by the MP for North Tongu, Hon Okudzeto Ablakwa cannot be deemed as the truth to the matter.

He noted that there are unresolved issues to be dealt with concerning the claims, adding that the person who has been accused by the MP was yet to make a comment on the issues publicly expressed and discussed.

‘’I want to caution that we stay off commentary and the passing of judgments on the matter raised by the MP for North Tongu since the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) which has been petitioned is yet to commence its investigations into the matter’’, the regional organizer advised.

DETAILS:

The regional organizer said he was hopeful that CHRAJ would adequately and appropriately give the accused, Prophet Kusi Boateng the chance and time to file his defense on the matters raised.

He also said he was sure the accuser, Hon Ablakwa would be offered an opportunity to substantiate his claims and offer more information that allowed him to make some conclusive statements as captured in his narrations on television and on radio.

The CHRAJ, the regional organizer stressed, would then have the opportunity of hearing from both parties to do its independent checks and draw its own conclusions.

‘’I am hopeful that after the CHARJ hearings every matter raised in the allegations by Mr Ablakwa and responded to by Prophet Kusi Boateng would be investigated to ascertain the truth or otherwise of same’’, Mr Admoako stated.

CAUTION:

Mr Adomako has therefore cautioned the public especially assigns of the NDC who have made it their stock in trade to make uninformed statements just because the matter suits their agenda to desist so that they do not fall foul of defamation.

He noted that the matters raised are serious to be toyed with by the uninformed and uninitiated, adding that any defamatory comment can be fatal when truth is established against them.

Mr Adomako urged Ghanaians to follow the matter as it has been taken over by CHRAJ with interest so that they would ascertain for themselves the truth.

‘’I am sure by the interest generated by the supposed expose by the North Tongu MP, the same interests would be shown by the public in following the CHRAJ proceedings so that the conclusions would be known by all’’, Mr Adomako stressed.
