Member of Parliament for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, has stated that Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has agreed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) caucus will be Majority in the 8th Parliament.
Speaking on GHToday, the former majority leader insisted that the decision by Fomena MP, Andrews Asiamah to cross carpet to the NPP caucus settles the issue of who becomes Majority.
He also rejected claims that the meeting with the Speaker on Tuesday and Wednesday ended inconclusively saying even though some decisions must still be ironed out.
Andrews Asiamah has officially communicated his intentions to side with the NPP in the 8th Parliament.
