Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo has called for a halt in voting activities at the GIMPA polling station 1.
According to him, the absence of indelible ink to mark voters is an issue of concern.
He raised fears of double voting if the issue is not addressed; suggesting that voting is halted till an indelible ink is available.
“I’m disappointed in the process. We don’t have indelible ink here and they are allowing the process to continue which is wrong. I suggest that they stop the whole process, let them get the ink before we continue. The indelible ink is the only way to show that you’ve been able to vote,” he told UniversNews.
