Asiedu Nketia Receives Praises For Suspending Campaign To Attend Ofosu Ampofo’s Mom’s One Week Celebration

General Secretary and aspiring Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has received praises from a section of his party for suspending his chairmanship campaign tour to attend the one week funeral ceremony of his opponent, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo’s mum.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia was touring the Volta Region when he cut short the campaign to join Mr. Ofosu Ampofo in Koforidua to mourn his late mother.

General Mosquito has emerged as the leading challenger to Mr. Ofosu Ampofo in the race for the Chairmanship position of the NDC.

The two who were hitherto described as good friends have been at the opposite end of some heated political banter in recent months.

However, in the spirit of friendship and comradeship, Mr. Asiedu Nketia joined his brother to mourn his departed mum.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia also made a donation of an undisclosed amount towards the funeral of the late Madam Mary Gyawubea Badu.
