Lucky Mensah says he composed a song for then-candidate Nana Akufo Addo and supported him during his 2016 campaign because of his love for him in an exclusive interview with Obibini TV’s Emmanuel Agyemang.
“Nana Akufo-Addo has not completed his time; if you tell me he is not performing, that is how you view things; he has three years left, let us allow him to complete his term before making an assessment,” he said.
In evaluating the president’s first term in office, Lucky Mensah stated that Ghanaians should wait for him to finish his tenure before comparing him to any other president.
Lucky Mensah, in response to the country’s recent fuel price hikes, claimed, “Ghana isn’t the only country where fuel prices are skyrocketing. If fuel costs rise on the world market, it will inevitably affect Ghana, as all Ghanaian politicians are aware.”
He went on to say that President Nana Akufo-Addo had brought the country’s power situation under control, and that he operates a bakery and had never experienced power outages.
