A member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Gabby Otchere Darko has received backlash from a twitter user after rubbishing the witness statement of Rojo Mettle Nunoo, third witness of the petitioner in the ongoing election petition.

Gabby in a tweet questioned the relevance of some parts of the witness statement to what the petitoner failed to achieve.

According to him, after going through 32 paragraphs in the witness statement he struggled to see what linkage any of them has with what the petitioner is demanding from the Supreme Court.

“I’ve looked through 32 paragraphs of Rojo Mettle Nunoo and I struggle to see what any of them got to do with what they are in court for: to show that no candidate got over 50%,” Gabby tweeted.

He quizzed “What has a slow fax machine or absence of a dispatch rider got to do with the votes you did not get on Dec 7?”

However, in a quick fire reply under the tweet, one user undermined Gabby’s prowess as a lawyer and questioned if he even deserved the 2million proposed to be paid him in the Agyapa deal.

He wrote: “I have look thru all your tweets on this election petition, I struggle to see if you are using your legal brains or any part of legal education, no part of your tweets shows you deserve to be paid 2 million dollars as a legal advisor for the fraudulent Agyapa deal.”
