The deputy minister for Trade and Member of Parliament for Tema West, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has been ordered by President Akufo Addo to step down or be sacked.
This comes after the MP granted an interview revealing he visited some registration centres although he is Covid-19 positive.
According to Mr Ahenkorah, he was only discharged Friday morning after being admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Thursday.
The MP has received backlash from the public who are fuming over what they term ‘irresponsible’ behaviour.
According to Starrfm, President Akufo Addo gave the order to resign or be sacked moments after his interview on several radio stations.
