Akufo-Addo Deletes His Tweet After Sarkodie Warned Him Not To Use His Song For Campaign

President Akufo-Addo has been forced to delete his earlier tweet which praised prolific rapper Sarkodie for seemingly endorsing his second term bid in a song.

This was after the rapper warned the President on a lighter note not to use his song for campaign purposes.

Sarkodie came under intense social media scrutiny yesterday after he released a song which appeared to be a subtle endorsement of President Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo immediately reacted to the song by praising the rapper in a tweet for releasing a dope song.

Sarkodie in return begged the President not to go head over heels on the song because it was not sang for him. He cleared the air that he never mentioned the NPP and as such they should not use the song for politics.
