Some unknown persons have allegedly sent death threatening messages to ace musician, Akosua Agyapong, over her constant criticisms on alleged corruption at the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO).

The musician says she has therefore reported the case to the Tuba Police Station in the Greater Accra Region.

She made the revelation in an interview with Nana Kwame Gyan on Onua TV/FM’s special edition of Maakye on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

She said in Twi that “I have received death threatening text messages over the GHAMRO issues so on Monday, December 25, 2022, I went to Tuba police station to report.”

“They (police) told me I should go to the headquarters so I will go there today to give further report to the police,” she indicated.

Akosua Agyapong said she went for a radio interview on one of the radio stations in Accra and after that the message came.
