Adongo May Be Forgiven For Akyem Sakawa Boys Tag But Not Mahama – Obiri Boahen

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has insisted that former president John Dramani Mahama failed to act honourably by trumpeting the ‘Akyem Sakawa’ boys tag Isaac Adongo shared on Facebook.

Speaking on Okay FM, Obiri Boahen noted that Isaac Adongo could be pardoned in the name of youthful exuberance however, same cannot be said for John Mahama who has once held the highest position in the country.

He added that he always advise NPP communicators to avoid insulting Mr Mahama because he has been a president before, however, Mahama seem to be failing to behave as such.

“Once you use Akyem, Ga, Bono, or Mamprusi you have raised the issue to a point that gives you off as having an evil agenda against a whole ethnic group and that is dangerous,” he told Kwame Nkruma Tikese.
