Two EC Officials Dismissed For Illegal Registration Exercise

Two Electoral Commission’s official who were arrested recently for illegal new voters card registaeration exercise in Tamale have been dismissed by the commission.

The public was concerned as to how the registeration machine could end up in the private homes of the individuals for the registeration exercise.

However, the party’s executives in the Savannah Region says, investigations revealed that, the supposed machine was faulty and as such was to be taken for repairs by the suspects only for them to use it for the illegal registeration of members of the New Patriotic Party(NPP).

The EC says it was not going to shield any official for any wrong doing.
