Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korle constituency, recently shared personal reflections about her time at Wesley Girls’ Senior High School, highlighting the institution’s strict disciplinary rules as a reason no male students approached her with romantic intentions.

In an interview on Starr FM, Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings explained that her focus during her school years was on academics rather than boys, largely due to the school’s stringent regulations. She noted that visiting days at Wesley Girls were highly regulated, with a structured registration process that further limited casual interactions.

When asked if any male students ever complimented her beauty or expressed a desire to date her, Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings calmly replied, “No.” She elaborated on the strict protocols in place, stating, “At Wesley Girls, visiting days were restricted; you couldn’t just turn up unannounced. Upon arrival, there was a procedure involving a table manned by senior students where visitors had to register their details and whom they intended to visit, after which the student would be summoned.”

She added, “So, it was a structured process. And it wasn’t exclusive to me, by the way. That was the standard protocol. Perhaps I was simply naive, but the opportunities for interaction were indeed limited.”
