‘We Don’t Need Him’ – Ghanaians Turn On Mohammed Salisu After World Cup Qualification

Many Ghanaians have taken to social media to express their anger against Southampton defender, Mohammed Salisu who turned down about three invitations to play for the Black Stars during the World Cup qualifiers.

Salisu once again turned down Ghana’s invitation to play against Nigeria in the ultimate qualifying round for the World Cup, citing a lack of readiness to don the National jersey.

Following Ghana’s dogged display which ensured the team qualified on the away goal rule after earning an intense 1:1 draw with Nigeria in Abuja, the campaign against the Southampton defender has intensified with fans calling that he should come nowhere near the team now that qualification has been secured.
