Former Power Minister, Kwabena Donkor has admonished the Clergy and Civil Society groups in Ghana for their lukewarm attitude over happenings in the Akufo-Addo led government.
According to him, these groups have failed to criticise happenings under the current government unlike how they bastardized the John Mahama administration and made it looked bad in the eyes of Ghanaians.
Speaking on the Morning Starr, Kwabena Donkor noted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will canvass 60% votes if the clergy and CSOs are admonishing the current government like they did to the erstwhile.
“When it’s Mahama in office, you find senior clerics firing on all cylinders. When it’s somebody else, they say they’re advising them behind the scenes. If the hypocrisy of Ghanaian civil society and the church will be addressed, I can assure you that 60% of the votes will go to NDC,” he said.
