We Are Solidly Behind You— Ahafo Chiefs Endorse “Four More For Nana”

Chiefs in the Ahafo Region have declared their unflinching support for the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his bid to secure a second term in office.

Chiefs from Duayaw Nkwanta, Techimantia, Bechem and Kenyasi made this known on Saturday, 12th September 2020, at separate durbars they held in honour of President Akufo-Addo, when the latter visited their towns on day one of his 2-day tour of the Ahafo Region.

At Duayaw Nkwanta, the Paramount Chief of the Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Council, Nana Boakye Tromo III, told the President that “you have distributed the national cake equitably, and we, in Duayaw Nkwanta, have gotten our fair share of development.”

Citing several examples of projects undertaken in Duayaw Nkwanta, together with policies such as Free SHS, 1-District-1-Factory, and the programme for Planting for Food and Jobs, Nana Boakye Tromo III stated that “this clearly shows that you have been chosen by God to lead us.”

He continued, “I want you to know that we are solidly behind you. We are told Chiefs are not supposed to engage themselves in partisan politics. However, it gets to a point in time where you have to help the person who helps you in your time of need. We are solidly behind you, and we are declaring today that ‘four more for Nana’, ‘four more to do more’.
