‘1st Wife’ Of Slain Mfantseman MP Breaks Silence After Husband’s Murder

Mrs. Ophelia Hayford, the first wife of late Mfantseman MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford has spoken for the first time after her husband’s cruel death.

She broke her silence after she filed her nomination as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Mfantseman Consistuency having been chosen by party executives to replace her husband.

Addressing the press after presenting her forms at the EC’s office in Saltpond, Mrs. Hayford expressed her gratitude to the entire NPP fraternity for the support and honour done her especially in these trying moments.

She pledged to continue the good works of her husband and retain the seat for the NPP in the December parliamentary polls.
