Bawumia Is Mute On Debt Issues Because He Knows Akufo-Addo Has Borrowed More – Kofi Siaw

Vice Presidential Candidate for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Kofi Asamoah Siaw has explained that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) are unable to campaign on the country’s public sector debt because they have performed woefully as compared to the previous John Mahama administration.

Speaking on TV3’s Elections 360 program, he noted that Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia unlike 2016, is unable to campaign on the country’s debt because he knows they have performed terribly and it won’t be a smart move to bring it up.

“Bawumia has stopped talking about the debt because he has done worse than Mahama. Nana Akufo-Addo has borrowed more than Mahama. That is why they are not talking about it again,” he said.
