You’re Crazy – Wayne Rooney Blasts Adongo Over Maguire-Bawumia Analogy

Former English football great Wayne Rooney referred to Isaac Adongo, the MP for Bolgatanga Central, as crazy for labeling Harry Maguire an ineffective player.

Isaac Adongo compared England’s and Manchester United’s captain, Harry Maguire, to Ghana’s vice president in an attempt to illustrate his point about the country’s failing economy by saying that the vice president shares the vice president’s defensive prowess.

He was regarded as the world’s top defender. Purchasing him was done by Manchester United. At the heart of the Manchester United defense, he developed as the biggest menace, tackling Manchester players and assisting the opposition.

“Mr. Speaker, you may recall that this nation has an economic Maguire. We’re clapping in agreement that he manages foreign terms the best. Mr. Speaker, why did we give Maguire the chance to be the focal point of our defense? He took on the rest of our own objectives. Mr. Adongo stated in Parliament that “our economic Maguire is seizing control of the fundamentals of our economy and destroying them completely.”

But in response to the Ghanaian MP’s criticism of Harry Maguire, English national team player Wayne Rooney spoke up.

“This week, I noticed someone in the Ghanaian Parliament mocking Harry Maguire on social media. Harry has been fantastic in this World Cup, so it was absurd. Because he consistently performs well for England and never disappoints Gareth Southgate, I had projected that he would succeed. He simply has a strong mentality and is a very effective defender, he told The Times.
