Concerned Members of the New Patriotic Party in all 23 seats in the Central Region has called on the party’s leadership to give all flagbearer hopefuls who are ready to lead the party to the 2024 elections a level playing field.
The organization accused the party’s national executives, led by National Chairman Freddy Blay, of administering “animal farm-style selective justice.”
It warned that if the national executives’ bias is not addressed promptly, the party’s chances of winning the 2024 election will be harmed.
The group stated that after the party’s General Secretary, John Boadu, outlined rules and regulations to govern the conduct of aspirants for national positions and other positions of the party, as well as their supporters, where sanctions were spelled out, it is unfortunate that only Alan Kyeremanten supporters are being dealt with by the party leadership, which is unacceptable and must be condemned.
Hon. Samuel Adjeibi-Kesie, the group’s leader and former DCE of Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District, announced this at a news conference in Cape Coast.
