Your Failure And Dumsor Prevented Students From Learning – Wontumi Fires Opoku Agyemang

The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Chairman Wontumi has blamed Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang for being the reason most senior high students couldn’t attend prep at night.

Chairman Wontumi explains that as Minister for Education, Prof. Opoku Agyemang couldn’t think of providing generators to serve as alternate power for students to use when the lights went out at night.

“She is a joke and the worst ever -Educational minister Ghana has ever had. When she was minister students couldn’t go to prep at night. She couldn’t even provide common chalk for teachers to use to write on blackboard”, Chairman Wontumi said.

The NPP Chairman also touched the cancellation of the Teacher and Nursing trainee allowances which was proposed and implemented by the 2020 running mate to former President John Mahama.

According to him, it was a bad move that gave an indication that Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang is a self-centered woman who doesn’t care about the welfare of the poor.

He also blasted her for being cunning when she refused to report but secretly received two months of unearned salary paid into her account by the University of Cape Coast (UCC) even though she wasn’t working there.
