Founder of Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has questioned the declaration of the Speaker of Parliament that Members of Parliament will have their votes on the anti-LGBTQ+ bill publicised.
In a tweet, Gabby noted that Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin would not have attained the Speakership position if votes were conducted publicly.
“My good friend Mr Speaker must first ask himself where would he have been today if MPs didn’t have a secret ballot on Jan 6?” he tweeted.
The anti-LGBTQ+ bill has generated lots of controversies and Parliament is determined to pass the it into law.
