A visibly angry lady has slammed Ghanaian female celebrities for mounting unending pressure on President Akufo-Addo to issue a statement in the wake of the violent suppression on peaceful protests in Nigeria.
Many Ghanaian female celebrities including; Lydia Forson, Sandra Ankobia, Efia Odo, Ama K. Abebrese and others mounted intense pressure on President Akufo-Addo to release a statement in his capacity as ECOWAS chair to address the situation in Nigeria.
Sentiments on social media were sharply divided as usual. As many called on the President to issue a statement, some also thought the ECOWAS chairman needed to wait and fully appreciate the situation before issuing a statement.
However, an unidentified lady has expressed her disappointment in the female celebrities for mounting what she terms as unnecessary pressure on the President.
According to her, diplomacy and international relations is not like going for a butt implant in Turkey.
