You Left Rawlings As A Former President To Die At Korle-bu, But You Are Flying A Finance Minister For Treatment – Ghanaians Roast Akufo-Addo Gov’t

The Government of President Akufo-Addo has come under severe criticism especially from social media after news emerged that the finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta had been flown abroad for treatment.

A statement from the Ministry of Finance said Ofori-Atta will be out for a “medical review” and is expected to return after two weeks, the statement added.

Following this news, social media has been lit with many Ghanaians questioning why the finance Minister will be flown outside for treatment when there are health facilities in Ghana.

Reacting to this development, Nana Baffoe Ba, a staunch activist of the NDC, questioned why the same Privileges were not extended to the late former President Rawlings when he was sick.
