You Insulted, Humiliated Supreme Court Just To Calm Your Supporters? Apologize Now – Mahama Told

The 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has been told to offer an unqualified apology to the Supreme Court of Ghana for inciting hatred against it during the petition ruling.

This comes after the former president said in an interview on URA radio that he went to court to calm his supporters after the elections.

However, a contender for the National Youth Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha has told Mr Mahama to come out and apologise to the highest court of the land.

According to him, the NDC and its leaders subjected the court to insults, humiliation and hatred for no reason. Furthermore, the party leaders failed to take responsibility for its defeat in the 2020 polls and incited its supporters to chastise the Supreme Court.
