MP for Ningo Prampram, Sam George has taunted his colleagues in the majority caucus following yesterday’s drama in Parliament.

The NPP caucus has been calling a number of press conferences after their 2022 budget was rejected on the floor of Parliament yesterday.

The majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu insists that the rejection of the budget yesterday constitutes an illegality and a breach of parliamentary procedure.

The NPP has been explaining their position in a number of press engagements since yesterday.

However, Ningo Prampram MP, Sam George has warned his colleagues to be mindful of the fact that after all the press conferences, they will still meet in the chamber of Parliament.

Parliament is expected to reconvene on Tuesday for business and thd majority is expected to argue against the rejection of the budget.

Meanwhile, Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin is expected to leave the country tonight for the UAE for a medical review.
