The Apex Court, has thrown out a suit by embattled businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome, challenging the sale of his properties by the government.
Mr. Woyome was seeking redress at the Supreme Court with the argument that the state had unlawfully purchased his properties.
He also pleaded with the Court to replace his properties with his $15.5 million worth of land in the Volta Region as the amount was far in excess of the debt he owes the state.
But his pleas were dismissed by judges who explained that the suit lacked merit.
