Words In Our National Song Is The Cause Of Ghana’s Problem – Kofi Kinaata [Video]

Ghanaian artist and songwriter Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata has addressed a contentious matter on Ghana National song.

The Fante Rap God claimed Ghanaians do whatever they want because of some of the phrases in our national anthem.

In the video available to AfricaWish.com, he used one of our favorite national songs, “Yɛn ara asaase ni. Ɛyɛ abɔ den den de ma yεn” as an example “This is our own native land; such a wonderful heritage,” it literally says. However, some Ghanaians, according to Kofi Kinaata, abuse the phrase “our own native land.”

This is why some Ghanaians build their homes wherever they choose because they have been told in the song that this is their own original country. People also establish their kiosks in whatever place they like because, the same lyrics in our national anthem contribute to lawlessness in the country; he added.
