Will You Call Akufo-Addo A Wizard Now? – Presby Moderator Who Labeled Agenda 111 Critics Witches And Wizards Questioned

Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Rt. Rev Prof Joseph Obiri-Yeboah has been asked whether he’ll eat the humble pie and refer to President Akufo-Addo as a ‘wizard’ after he admitted that the Agenda 111 hospital project was overly ambitious.

It’ll be recalled that Rev Obiri-Yeboah, following the government’s declaration to build 111 hospitals across the country within a year chided critics of the government who believed the project could never be achieved within the stipulated time.

He labeled the critics as ‘witches and wizards’ who want nothing good for the country.

However, following the president’s recent admission that the project was overly ambitious and is not likely to be achieved within the stipulated time, National Organiser hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joseph Yammin has called out the Presby moderator to eat back his words.

Speaking on AMBASSADOR TV, Joseph Yammin said Rev Yeboah ust apologise to Ghanaians, wondering if he can call the President a wizard since he has admitted his own project was an ambitious one.

“These so-called men of God are destroying the work of God. People who criticized the government’s Agenda 111 are not enemies of Ghana’s progress but it is impossible for this government to complete 111 hospitals within a year, the Presbyterian Church Moderator called us witches and Wizards” Yammin was quoted by mynewsgh.

He added “Now those who criticized Nana Addo and Agenda 111 projects have been vindicated because the President himself has admitted that government cannot complete all Agenda 111 projects within the time period. When you get the opportunity to meet the Presbyterian church Moderator, kindly ask him if he will describe Nana Addo as Wizard for not being able to complete Agenda 111 projects within a year”.
