Why Is The Peace Council Silent On Electoral Tensions? – NDC Asks

The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed surprise at the seeming silence of the National Peace Council on some anomalies of the ongoing electoral processes ahead of the 2020 general polls.

Mr. Peter Otokunor in an interview on Citi FM questioned why the arbitrary body has watched on as the Electoral Commission (EC) allegedly treats some political parties with some level of bias.

He was of the view that the Peace Council should wake up to ensure that the EC’s actions won’t bring any chaos in the country.

Mr. Otokunor admonished all Ghanaian voters to be vigilante as the nation builds up to the December 7 polls, and rise against any unfair treatment by the electoral management body.
