The Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Richard Boadu says the running mate of John Mahama, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has demonstrated her real character to Ghanaians.
Mr. Boadu made this comment following the response to a statement made by the NDC running mate saying that “the child of every parent is bad” after Asantehene admonished the two parties that they should tell Ghanaians their mistakes and be truthful in the 2020 election campaign.
“NDC doesn’t respect Nananom. Because of politics, they talk anyhow to them.” He told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show.
According to the PPP Communications Officer, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and the NDC should be aware that, Asantehene is not only recognized as Ashanti King by Ghanaians alone but rather the whole wide world.
He said that, it is only during elections that NDC pays homage to Nananom.
“Chiefs and high ranking people humble themselves to Otumfuor but John Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang cannot portray such.” He affirmed.
