What Sin Have Ghanaians Committed To Be Treated This Way? Kwesi Pratt To Akufo Addo

Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has criticised President Akufo Addo for allowing the Electoral Commission to go ahead and register students in schools when parents have been barred.

To him, the EC made matters worse when they allowed the National youth organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Boakye to move into some Senior High Schools (SHS) in the country to campaign.

Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, Kwesi Pratt refused to entertain any justification by the EC and Nana Boakye for their actions.

He bemoaned why the EC went ahead to register students in schools in the first place and further allowed political party members to enter the schools while parents have been warned to desist from visiting their own children.

”If the parents won’t be allowed to go the schools because they’re protecting the children. If they even were metal masks, they won’t be allowed to go there; how come political party agents were able to enter the schools? Why do you give political party agents the chance to go to the schools? What are they going to do there? What triggered us to go to the schools to do voter registration? What’s wrong with us?” Mr Pratt quizzed.

He added, ”What sin have we, Ghanaians, committed against our leaders for them to treat us this way?”
