“What Did We Do Wrong By Electing Akufo-Addo As President?” – Upset Rex Omar Asks

Following the publication of a music video taken inside the government building by American rapper Meek Mill, who recently paid a visit to Ghana, many people are expressing conflicted opinions on social media.

Meek Mill was scheduled to perform at the Afrochella festival in Accra, but instead, he was seen with the president and Akufo-daughter, Addo’s the CEO of the Creative Arts Council, at the Jubilee House.

When discussing the situation, Rex Omar, Board Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), used the rhetorical question, “What harm did we do to Akufo-Addo by appointing him our president of state?”

“I’m actually finding it extremely difficult to fathom the scorn and the complete lack of respect the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has been demonstrating to Ghanaians,” he shouted.

“By electing Akufo-Addo as our leader, what wrong did we commit against him? How on earth are you going to permit such a DESECRATION of a sovereign state’s seat of government?
“This is quite terrible, to put it mildly,” Rex Omar said. “Under this stupid so-called “administration,” Ghana, our motherland, has become so inexpensive.
