A signboard with bold inscription “Welcome to Western Togoland” and a flag purported to be the flag of Western Togoland has been spotted in the Eastern Region precisely Akorley in the Yilo Krobo District.
It is unknown who planted the signboard but residents say they saw it on Thursday morning.
However, Armed police officers from the Somanya Police Command had pull it down.
