A minister of State at the Office of the Vice President, Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique has said that the Western Togoland separatist agenda could never have happened under the National Democratic Congress.
According to the lawmaker, the agenda has had enough room to operate under this current government because it has been allowed to fester.
Alhaji Saddique believes that if this separatist agenda had reared its head under an NDC government, it would have been immediately dealt with.
“This kind of behavior has never happened whenever the NDC was in power. Let’s be honest with ourselves, he said.
According to the former MP for Salaga, the NPP believes in democracy and allowing every individual or group to be heard, that is why such unfortunate events are happening.
