We’ll Tell Ghanaians How We Will Eliminate Double Track Before December – NDC

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) manifesto committee, Prof. George K.T Oduro has disclosed that strategies to phase out the double track system are still being discussed by the party.

Speaking on the Morning Starr, Prof Oduro noted that the NDC will ensure the double track system is replaced with an efficient system if they win power on December 7.

“There are many abandoned and uncompleted projects on campuses and with that, we agreed that as a matter of priority, when power is handed to the NDC, we have to deal with that. What we are looking at is completing infrastructure to meet the numbers because the double-track system has had a toll on quality. The implementation strategy is still being discussed and so by December we’ll tell Ghanaians how it is going to be,” he said.

The NDC in its manifesto has promised to eliminate the double track system that has been associated with the free senior high school programme due to insufficient infrastructures.
