Lawmaker for Madina constituency, Francis Xavier-Sosu has insisted NDC MPs are willing to go all out to ensure the E-levy bill never gets passed in Parliament.
He said even if it means NDC MPs must stay in the country with their ailing health to do it, they’ll not hesitate.
His comment comes after deputy majority leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin complained that some NDC MPs are refusing to travel outside the country for medical care because of the E-levy.
Sosu in response wrote “the 137 NDC MPs will rather die fighting the senseless insensitive and regressive E-levy than to travel and allow your government to pass the wicked E-levy. There can be no progress or achievement without sacrifice. We are ready to die for Ghana.”
