We Support Mahama To Build More Mortuaries In The Country – Mortuary Workers

The Mortuary Workers Association has backed National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama’s promise to build morgues if elected president in the December polls.

Speaking on Onua FM, the general Secretary for Mortuary Workers Association, Richard Kofi Jordan noted that inadequate morgues across the country puts pressure on health facilities and sometimes leads to missing dead bodies due to how choked they are.

According to him, every health facility must have a morgue because it is likely people will die there.

He noted that Muslims in particular needs separate mosques to take care of their dead bodies before burial, stressing that the only way to achieve that is to build more morgues.
