A deputy Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party, is calling on government to ensure top dogs of the National Democratic Congress are jailed to send a very strong signal to Ghanaians that it doesn’t countenance corruption.
Jennifer Queen, according to Wontumionline, stated that “if we are able to jail just one, it will send a strong signal to Ghanaians that we are serious about fighting crime.”
“Time is not on our side; we have to jail them. Even if two are jailed, Ghanaians would be happy with us”, she fired.
She also poohpoohed claims by former Deputy Minister for Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson that the Attorney-General is investigating him for the role he played in the purchase of useless ambulances due to his opposition to the Electronic Transaction Levy (e-levy).
Jennifer Queen rhetorically asked if Cassiel Ato Forson even makes “sense” when he speaks noting that “what sense is he making in Parliament? He rather wants to make the country ungovernable like his party National Chairman”.
