We Have To Work Together To Address Current Economic Challenges – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo is calling for a concerted effort to address the Ghanaian economy’s issues, according to him.

Support from the population and other stakeholders, according to Nana Akufo-Addo, will go a long way toward addressing the country’s economic issues.

Nana Akufo-Addo, speaking during a meeting with executives from FNB Bank at Jubilee House, while underlining that the government is striving to alleviate Ghanaians’ hardship, claimed that the current crisis was caused by external forces that had a detrimental impact on other economies around the world.

“The hardships that we are all experiencing right now are nothing that we need to underline or repeat. It’s self-evident, and the source is something we’re all aware of. There have been various effects on various economies and countries, but the basic causes are well understood. These are issues that we must also address as a group.

“I believe that, at the end of the day, it is this cross-border collaboration in our areas that will provide us with the greatest foundation from which to address the issues that have arisen in the last two years,” he said.

Many economies have been challenged by the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent Russia-Ukraine conflict.

As a result of the war, fuel costs have lately risen over the world.

Fuel price increases in Ghana have resulted in similar increases in the pricing of ordinary goods and services, causing major inflation worries.
