Metro TV has reacted to claims that they have sacked journalist, Bridget Otoo just a day after hiring her as a newscaster.

There were reports that following intense pressure from elements in government, Metro TV had terminated the appointment of Bridget Otoo.

The rumors gained intensity after Bridget failed to show up to read the news on Tuesday night.

It was widely claimed by NDC fanatics especially that the journalist had been sacked because of her affiliation with the NDC.

However, Metro TV have officially refuted the claims, insisting that Bridget remains a part of the Metro TV family.
